I had a great time this year, I don't think there is much to say since it's all in my vlog. The highlight for me was defiantly the fashion show and Mori Kei panel. I loved making friends and being involved.
I am working on a toy for my core class at OCADU, I am majoring in Industrial Design in case you didn't know. For the project I have to make a product repurposing a material. I bought white shirts from Value Village, specifically white so I could dye them myself. I love working with textiles and thought this would be a great time to try natural dyes. These one is made from strawberries.
Here are the steps I followed:
Bowl water
Cut up strawberries
Bowl strawberries for a half an hour
Strain the berries out of the water
Soaked the clean and damp shirt in the strawberry juice
Wait a few hours, rung out the shirt and hung it to dry.
